Oil and Mixed Media on Wood 6 feet by 7 feet by 20 inches and 12 inch medallion
Virginia Village Branch, Denver Public Library
This installation in the foyer of the library suggests someone at a desk learning about universal tools of learning: Pi, an apple suggesting knowledge or computers, books, Euclid’s basic shapes and many more symbols. The chair is in a classic Western perspective while the screen is constructed in Byzantine perspective. On the opposite wall is a painting that mirrors the installation as if it were a fish eye lens, decoding some of the messages seen in the installation.
